Welcome to Breakin’ the Bay!

Now in its third year, Breakin’ the Bay – Wales Millennium Centre’s very own urban arts festival, offers a range of activities for all ages and abilities to take part in. During the past three years, thousands have attended events, taken part in workshops and showcases and experienced live performances.

But it doesn’t all end with the annual festival weekend. You can be part of events that now take place all year long. Check back soon for more info and see our section on all that happened on our March festival weekend

Upcoming Events

Learn new Beat Boxing, Rap and MC’ing skills with Slicky, or brush up on your existing skills. Whatever your level, Slicky will teach you all the different sounds and the freshest techniques of hip hop music. And after the workshops, it’s your chance to take to the floor, to showcase your new skills in WMC’s Glanfa foyer.
